Technical Sales Manager
Job Description
This onsite role is based in Mills River, NC and focuses on OEM technical sales for RAUMEDIC Inc. It covers the Southwest or West Coast territories, with responsibility for sales activities and the P&L for the assigned area, including acquisition and servicing of customers. The position requires developing a regional sales strategy and frequent travel.
Responsibilities
- Own the sales activities and P&L for the designated territory
- Acquire new customers
- Provide professional support and service to existing and newly acquired customers, including frequent visits and monitoring of stock levels
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy
- Manage defined key accounts
- Plan and execute marketing activities for the territory, including trade shows, lead follow-up, white papers, and advertising, in coordination with a supervisor
- Coordinate and follow through on customer projects with Application Technology and Marketing & Sales teams from proposal through after sales service, including Product Development Sheet (PDS), drawings, quality control instructions, packaging requirements, Technical Delivery Specification (TDS), and supply agreements
- Provide customer specific consulting for innovative polymer products
- Prepare and implement regional business plans including competitor analysis and surveillance
- Adhere to and update all relevant Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs requirements for the sales area
- Make use of and keep current all Marketing and reporting tools provided by RAUMEDIC Headquarters, including CRM, project database, and group calendar
- Prepare the yearly AJEW forecast in cooperation with a supervisor and LG RAUMEDIC AG
- Ensure that customer requirements are met regarding samples, product, price, lead time, and quality
- Coordinate and obtain signatures on Technical Delivery Specifications with customers
- Coordinate legal issues (indemnification, NDA/CDA, supply agreements, etc.) with a supervisor or Legal Department
