Flowers Foods, Inc. is hiring an Area Sales Director to lead DSD and Independent Distributor (ID) sales in Calera, AL (onsite).

Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors) across the market
Support IDs in managing customer relationships
Engage in sales activities to drive performance
Grow the customer base and strengthen account relationships
Identify and pursue new selling opportunities in the territory
Track and monitor sales data to assess results
Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts
Help ensure promotion and display execution in the market
Use digital tools to communicate execution wins and opportunities for growth
Partner with the Market Vice President and Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities
Use consumer insights to adjust sales strategies and maximize sales

5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales
Experience as a sales rep, distributor, or in another sales position
Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience
Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card
Valid Driver’s License and a safe driving record
Must be at least 21 years of age

Salary: USD 62,000 per year
