Bi-Con Services is seeking a Business Development professional to grow its footprint in the natural gas and energy services market from its Cambridge, Ohio onsite location. The role focuses on developing new opportunities, expanding market presence, and cultivating strong relationships with potential clients and industry partners in the manufacturing and O&M divisions.

Overview
Represent Bi-Con Services in the natural gas and energy services market, expanding existing customers and establishing new ones. The ideal candidate will drive new business opportunities, broaden market reach, and foster strong relationships with potential clients and industry partners in the manufacturing and O&M divisions.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and sustain durable relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, collect bid details, and relay them to the estimating team.
- Collaborate with internal divisions to craft and present tailored client solutions.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events to promote services and establish new business relationships.
- Coordinate targeted marketing and business development activities for the manufacturing and O&M market segments.
- Maintain and update client and sales records.
- Keep management informed of sales activity and provide projected timelines for proposals and bids.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and devise strategies to secure significant projects across diverse industries.
- Produce regular reports on business development, sales outcomes, and evolving market trends in the manufacturing and O&M divisions.
- Monitor changes in customer corporate structures and communicate insights to division leadership.
- Maintain contact with local engineers and architects to stay informed about upcoming projects.
- Collaborate with other divisions for business development support as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities and duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of business development, sales, marketing, or design experience, or equivalent work in the natural gas or welding sector.
- A degree in marketing or business development is preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Solid problem-solving, documentation, research, and resolution abilities.
- B2B sales experience is preferred.
- Strong lead-generation and prospecting capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, integrity, and professional presentation.
- Ability to prioritize competing customer issues and site visits while multi-tasking.
- Working knowledge of construction processes from preconstruction through project closeout and basic contract knowledge.
- Capacity to produce routine reports and correspondence and to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on PowerPoint.
- Travel up to 60% regionally, including overnight stays.
