Job Description

Based onsite in Bloomington, Minnesota, this role sits at the intersection of student career services and employer outreach, helping students and alumni secure meaningful placements while expanding program partnerships. It blends hands-on career guidance with proactive business development to identify opportunities and promote program offerings, contributing to placement outcomes and program growth.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and cultivate strong employer relationships and expand the pool of companies sourcing Academy College students and alumni for full-time roles.
  • Partner with office staff and education coordinators to design and execute employer relations programming such as networking nights, employer site visits, and on-campus recruiting activities.
  • Collaborate with education coordinators to place current students and alumni into jobs.
  • Verify graduate employment in line with applicable regulations, conduct graduate and employer surveys, and maintain career services records.
  • Engage in community activities through local chambers of commerce, work groups, and leadership initiatives to broaden the quantity, quality, and diversity of professional opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver monthly student workshops.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Identify and pursue potential partnerships both within the community and across the nation.
  • Develop and execute strategies to promote programs to new and existing community partners.
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with industry partners.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to raise program visibility and network with potential partners.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic adjustments.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall program growth.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, career services and employment assistance, or sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities, influencing skills, and presentation capabilities are required.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering projects, multitasking effectively, and performing under tight deadlines.
  • Experience building constructive, collaborative relationships and sustaining them over time.
