Job Description

Field-based Business Development Manager role with BrightStar Care of Schaumburg in Elgin, IL (onsite), focused on expanding referral partnerships and growing private duty home care, skilled nursing, and healthcare staffing services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with referral sources that can supply qualified candidates for private duty home care, skilled nursing, school nurses, and medical staffing.
  • Meet with prospective clients and families in person or by phone to assess needs, explain how BrightStar Care supports them, secure signed service agreements, and coordinate with Clinical and Operations teams for a smooth start.
  • Identify the needs of prospective referral sources and clients and clearly communicate the benefits of BrightStar Care services.
  • Educate referral sources about BrightStar Care in the context of industry changes, clinical programs and capabilities, outcomes, and appropriate referrals.
  • Maintain the book of business by tracking referrals, leads, and sales activity in CMR HUB SPOT.
  • Develop and implement territory growth plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Participate in networking events, healthcare meetings, and community outreach opportunities.
  • Represent BrightStar Care professionally within the healthcare community and strengthen referral partnerships.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of outside sales experience are required.
  • Experience in healthcare, home care, hospice, medical sales, senior living, staffing, or related fields is preferred.
  • Proven success developing referral relationships and expanding a sales territory.
  • Strong communication, presentation, networking, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
  • Valid driver\u2019s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the territory.
