Job Description

This role directs comprehensive business development and capture activities in the Intelligence and Surveillance domain within Northrop Grumman's Space Sector, driving growth across both new and existing programs. The position is onsite in Redondo Beach, CA, with a salary range of USD 175,400 to 263,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Apply broad strategic analysis to evolving customer needs, competitive dynamics, required capabilities, and the tactical steps needed to win opportunities in the market.
  • Formulate and execute growth roadmaps, identify new business opportunities, set pursuit priorities, deepen customer relationships, and craft effective capture plans.
  • Develop and refine contact plans with customer organizations and industry influencers to sustain engagement.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and competitive threats for target opportunities to translate them into win strategies aligned with Northrop Grumman's acquisition processes.
  • Create high level offering concepts that meet mission needs by tailoring capabilities, leveraging current development, technology reuse, and strategic partners.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings for customers, partners, and executives.
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and the business pipeline to support the Business Unit Long-Range Strategic Plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Support competitive assessments, capture activities, and proposal teams during the proposal development process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related professional or military experience; or a Master’s degree and at least 6 years of related experience.
  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and delivering executive level reporting, presentations, and presence.
  • Ability to rapidly build rapport and function as a trusted member of the Business Unit team.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance at the time of application.
