Job Description

Join Sodexo as a remote Business Development Manager for InReach convenience solutions, supporting the Los Angeles market. This role centers on identifying leads, qualifying prospects, and moving small, transactional deals through short sales cycles, with local travel within the LA area. The position offers a salary range of USD 74,290 - 96,140 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree plus at least three years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective clients using CRM data, social media, field territory planning, and sales intelligence tools.
  • Execute outbound calling and email campaigns to present Sodexo’s InReach convenience solutions.
  • Develop relationships with key contacts to nurture opportunities and build trust.
  • Keep CRM records current to track activities, engagement, and lead status, sustaining deal momentum.
  • Use CRM dashboards to prioritize high-potential opportunities and flag aging deals for action or re-engagement.
  • Coordinate pipeline activities with target revenue goals, offering insights into deal velocity and close probability.
  • Follow up on inbound marketing inquiries and outbound prospecting to push opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Support the conversion of qualified opportunities into closed-won deals by delivering timely proposals and pricing support.

Requirements

  • Proven sales success, with preference for experience in food services, hospitality, or convenience solutions.
  • Strong ability to present product details and negotiate contracts with clients.
  • Skilled at building and nurturing long-term client relationships.
  • Track record of closing deals with top-tier clients and expanding the client base.
  • Hunter mindset and proactive approach.
  • Ability to develop a robust pipeline that boosts lead-to-opportunity conversion.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience
