District Sales Manager
Job Description
Oversee district sales initiatives to drive profitable revenue by expanding markets, guiding both outside and inside sales teams, and coordinating with Branch Managers, the District Manager, and the Regional Sales and Marketing Director.
Responsibilities
- Motivate Outside Sales Representatives and provide proactive support to help them achieve and surpass targets for equipment rentals, sales, and total revenue.
- Collaborate with the District Manager and Branch Managers to identify and develop new markets, analyze market trends, assess competitive dynamics, and address profitability drivers.
- Support Branch Managers in defining sales territories, setting targets, and forecasting performance for Outside Sales Representatives.
- Coordinate Inside Sales Representatives’ activities, goals, and objectives so they align with Outside Sales Reps to maximize district performance.
- Help Branch Managers execute sales blitzes and organize customer-focused events to strengthen relationships and increase district penetration.
- Drive revenue generation from Key Accounts within the district, including National Accounts, Strategic Accounts, and assigned accounts.
- Encourage and oversee efficient use of Salesforce for sales planning and tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Seven or more years of proven outside sales, sales management, or related leadership experience, with demonstrated skills in strategic planning, problem solving, negotiation, and strong interpersonal communication
- Proficiency with computers and Salesforce experience
- Strong leadership capabilities, customer service orientation, effective presentation and analytical thinking, and excellent verbal and written communication
- Independent self-starter with disciplined self-management, strong organizational skills and business acumen
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Compensation
- Salary range: USD 124,545 - 205,505 per year
