In-Home Selling Sales Manager
Job Description
In-Home Selling Sales Manager role focused on leading residential bathroom remodeling sales in Central California.
Responsibilities
- Lead, recruit, train, and develop a sales team of 1-2+ Sales Reps plus a lead Ambassador; set targets and run regular coaching and performance reviews
- Actively prospect, present, and close residential bathroom remodeling projects to hit personal and team goals
- Track and report key KPIs including demo rate, closing rate, revenue, and lead flow from big box stores
- Build and maintain relationships with installers, project managers, and big box stores
- Run weekly sales meetings, conduct ride-alongs, attend Product Knowledge sessions, complete store visits, and manage 4-5+ appointments weekly
- Maintain a customer service mindset with strong problem-solving under pressure
Requirements
- 4+ years of outside/field sales experience in home improvement, construction, remodeling, or a closely related industry
- 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role (preferred)
- Residential home improvement sales experience with a track record of closing two million or more annually
- Experience building rapport using open-ended questions
- Proven ability to achieve quota and grow territory revenue
- One-Call Closer mindset with an aversion to “maybe”
- Goal-driven, self-motivated, results-oriented approach
- Comfort with a full commission compensation structure
- Willingness to travel as a road warrior between Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo County
- In-Home Sales: 2 years (required)
- HIS License: active license (preferred) and willingness to obtain if not already held (required)
Compensation
- USD 150,000 - 300,000 per year
- Base salary: $30K - $35K + commission and bonus
- Uncapped personal commission
