Job Description
A Rochester, NY onsite Regional Sales Director role focused on the fibromyalgia space, offering USD 144,000 - 195,000 per year and leading a team of Account Managers.
Responsibilities
- Drive consistent attainment of regional sales goals
- Recruit, hire, and develop a high‑performing team of Account Managers
- Coordinate field activities to achieve results with assigned accounts
- Optimize market segments and team dynamics to lift top and bottom line performance
- Plan and conduct the regional action plan and related meetings as required
- Develop and implement business plans to meet or exceed regional sales objectives
- Maintain current technical expertise to respond accurately to product, policy, and business questions from employees and customers
- Demonstrate urgency and timely follow‑up while upholding integrity in all interactions
- Cover key accounts as needed, virtually or in person, during account manager vacancies
- Adhere to occupational health and safety procedures, GMPs, and SOPs
- Uphold the company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork
- Perform ad hoc work or special projects to support Tonix on various initiatives
- Collaborate regularly with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access
Requirements
- Minimum of five years in sales leadership or director‑level roles
- Bachelor’s degree required (BA or BS)
- Demonstrated history of sales success, team leadership, and talent development
- Patient access and market access pull‑through experience and knowledge
- Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and manage performance
- Knowledge of FDA Marketing Compliance, PhRMA Guidelines, and the Sunshine Act
- Ability to travel 3 to 4 days per week; overnight and weekend travel expected
- Dedicated team player capable of thriving in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Highly organized, results‑oriented, problem solver, and collaborator
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and mobile technologies
- Experience in fibromyalgia, rheumatology, neurology, or pain management preferred
- Product launch experience preferred
