Job Description

American Textile Maintenance Co INC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales operations across the Greater Los Angeles area from an on-site base in Los Angeles. The role reports to the Director of Sales and directs a sales team to expand the customer base while driving performance, profitability, and growth. The position carries an annual compensation range of USD 100,000 - 185,000.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a market-specific business plan and sales strategy aimed at meeting company targets and profitability.
  • Oversee the performance and development of Sales Representatives.
  • Prepare individual and team action plans to optimize lead generation and prospecting.
  • Lead efforts to penetrate new markets by coordinating strategic action plans.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one reviews with Sales Representatives to improve communication, identify training needs, and enhance performance.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management on team performance.
  • Ensure timely, accurate pricing for completed pricing requests while maintaining strong profit margins.
  • Keep precise records of pricing, sales activity, and reports from Sales Representatives.
  • Assist Sales Representatives in preparing proposals and presentations.
  • Manage expenses to align with budget guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes and ensure adherence within the team.
  • Recruit, test, and hire Sales Representatives based on criteria set by senior management.
  • Ensure Account Executives meet or exceed activity standards for prospecting, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes.
  • Delegate authority with accountability and follow-up.
  • Set an example in personal character, commitment, and selling skills, as well as work habits.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to maintain motivation and strengthen selling capabilities.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients in the market area to sustain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the company to support sales objectives.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in sales management.
  • Experience using Salesforce as a CRM platform.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel and operate within a Southern California team.
  • Proven leadership ability to drive sales teams; clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of auto liability insurance.
  • College degree is preferred.
