Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales efforts across multiple territories, shaping strategic plans to grow market share and drive revenue in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors through outside sales and expert account management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to regional markets, focusing on B2B sales within the medical and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve both individual and collective targets through effective leadership and communication.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to healthcare providers, hospital administrators, and pharmaceutical partners.
  • Manage key accounts by building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Analyze regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and organize product demos that highlight product benefits and technical features.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales or medical/pharmaceutical sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills combined with expertise in account management and B2B sales processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling product demos and technical presentations.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teams and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in market analysis, sales forecasting, and performance tracking using Microsoft Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint.
  • Organizational skills necessary to manage multiple accounts, coordinate meetings, and maintain detailed records.
  • Familiarity with medical or pharmaceutical sales environments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region to meet clients and attend industry events.

Salary

USD 85,000 - 110,000 per year

Location

Onsite position in Arkansas City, AR. This role requires extensive travel within the assigned region (on the road).
