Job Description

Essity is expanding its wound care region with a Regional Sales Manager focused on the Southeast. Working from a remote base in Atlanta, GA, you will lead a field team to grow the Advanced Wound Care portfolio in Acute Care while overseeing coverage across TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, eastern MS, and FL. The role centers on strategic execution, talent development, and strong collaboration with healthcare partners to drive sustained growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue by managing the sales pipeline, meeting targets, and delivering results aligned with company objectives.
  • Implement tailored go-to-market strategies for Health and Medical Advanced Wound Care products, with emphasis on Acute Care and key IDN partnerships in the Southeast.
  • Coach and mentor the sales team to ensure consistent performance and growth.
  • Conduct field rides, recruit top talent, onboard new hires, and develop personalized development plans for sales representatives.
  • Develop regional business plans aligned with corporate objectives and collaborate with marketing and corporate teams for seamless execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including KOLs, healthcare leaders, and IDN executives.
  • Represent Essity in high-stakes negotiations and strategic discussions.
  • Ensure policy compliance and optimize CRM usage for accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, and other B2B accounts.
  • Establish networks with clinical and distributor partners to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Partner with other Regional Sales Managers on the National Team to share best practices, align strategies, and foster a winning culture.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of medical device sales leadership experience with a strong understanding of GPO contracting and IDN health systems.
  • Experience developing business plans, managing CRM systems, and executing sales strategies.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the hospital and broader healthcare ecosystem.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and GPS Sales Processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s degree a plus, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Willing to travel up to 70% of the workweek, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
