Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
Regional Sales Manager position onsite in Charlotte, NC for Moove NA Distribution Holdings, Inc., with a salary range of USD 120,000 - 150,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals.
- Lead regional sales forecasting and establish corresponding performance targets.
- Analyze market conditions and competition to set customer pricing and discount levels.
- Oversee regional staffing, training, and performance reviews to shape the sales program.
- Organize sales distribution by defining territories, assigning accounts, and setting quotas and objectives.
- Produce periodic sales reports detailing volume, growth opportunities, and areas for client base expansion; analyze trends to inform policy and promotions.
- Support and engage key customers in collaboration with Distributor Sales Representatives and Technical Service and Support personnel.
- Partner with Inventory for demand planning, streamline product lines, and remove unprofitable items from the portfolio.
- Represent the company at industry trade association events to promote products.
- Deliver sales presentations to major clients in coordination with sales teams.
- Consult with key clients alongside sales representatives to nurture relationships and negotiate and close deals.
- Build cross functional relationships with Marketing, Operations, Finance and other departments to stay aligned on pricing, inventory and marketing strategies, including brochure and publication development.
- Monitor and control regional expenditures to meet budget requirements.
- Track and assess competitor activities and offerings.
- Develop and propose the regional budget, expenditures and allocations.
- Willing to take a leadership role for ad hoc teams and projects initiated by PetroChoice.
- Travel frequently within the region, including overnight travel as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business Administration or Marketing with 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents; respond to difficult inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business partners; write speeches and articles for publication in prescribed style.
- Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle multiple variables.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Experience: Team management 5 years (Required).
- License/Certification: Driver's License (Required).
- Willngess to travel: 75% (Required).
- Education: Bachelor's (Required).
