Job Description

Beachside Golf Cars is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales execution across a multi-store territory spanning Florida, New York, and California. This onsite role is built for a hands-on leader who can travel frequently, coach teams on the floor, tighten lead response, and keep inventory moving with consistent reporting.

As the regional point of accountability, you will oversee store performance, drive conversion and attachment, ensure showrooms are walk-in ready, and translate monthly goals into weekly store targets.

Job location & schedule

  • Location: Delray Beach, FL (onsite)
  • Travel: Heavy travel across Florida, New York, and California
  • Weekends: Required (retail hours are when business happens)
  • Work cadence: Expect early mornings, late days, and high responsiveness

Compensation

  • Salary: USD 80,000 - 200,000 per year
  • Employment: W-2 position with base pay plus performance bonus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee sales performance across all stores in your territory
  • Lead and develop store Sales Managers and sales teams
  • Help teams close deals and improve conversion
  • Keep showrooms professional, clean, and ready to sell
  • Enforce strong lead response and follow-up habits
  • Drive attachment of accessories, upgrades, and warranties/service plans
  • Manage inventory across stores, including transfers, merchandising readiness, aging awareness, and the right product mix by location
  • Report performance consistently using CRM and spreadsheets
  • Visit stores regularly and set the tempo for urgency, professionalism, and customer focus
  • Break down monthly goals into weekly targets by store and manager
  • Identify underperforming stores quickly and execute a turnaround plan
  • Train Sales Managers to run the floor, including huddles, pipeline reviews, accountability, and coaching
  • Work side-by-side with reps to improve walkarounds, objections, follow-up, and closing
  • Push the team to close big deals while protecting margin
  • Ensure fast response to all inbound leads
  • Make sure every store runs a consistent follow-up process (calls/text/email)
  • Keep CRM clean with accurate notes, next steps, tasks, and pipeline stages
  • Coach teams to sell upgrades and accessories (lights, lifts, wheels/tires, enclosures, audio, etc.)
  • Support pricing discipline and protect margin across the region
  • Coordinate inter-store transfers to support demand and prevent aged inventory
  • Ensure units are staged, photographed, and presented properly to sell quickly
  • Track aging units and work with store teams on action plans (merchandising, pricing strategy within guidelines, promotions, swaps)
  • Partner with leadership on ordering recommendations and product mix improvements
  • Ensure stores are walk-in ready every day with staged carts, a clean showroom, and strong merchandising
  • Ensure listings and photos are strong (Marketplace/classifieds) and teams respond quickly
  • Submit weekly performance updates and store visit recaps
  • Track results using CRM reports and spreadsheets, including KPIs, pipeline, inventory aging, attachment, and store action plans
  • Communicate clearly with leadership and store teams

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of sales experience (golf carts, automotive, powersports, RV, marine, or similar)
  • Leadership: 2+ years of leadership experience (multi-store preferred)
  • Strong closing and coaching ability
  • Experience managing inventory and moving aged units (transfers, merchandising, pricing support)
  • Strong CRM discipline and comfort using spreadsheets
  • Driver’s license: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel heavily
