Job Description

HVAC & Appliance Repair Guys is seeking a hands-on, player-coach Residential HVAC Sales Manager / Director of Sales who will actively close major accounts while building and guiding a growing sales team. This role combines frontline selling with leadership, shaping a scalable sales engine for a hybrid work setup in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities

  • Personally close high value HVAC deals while also building and leading the sales team
  • Train and develop the sales staff to enhance performance
  • Design and implement sales systems and structure from the ground up
  • Create your own door-to-door canvassing team as an additional lead source
  • Influence major company processes to fit growth objectives

Requirements

  • Proven history of selling $2M+ in HVAC annually
  • Consistently maintain a close rate above 25%
  • Ability to close deals directly inside the customer’s home
  • Experience generating leads via door-to-door and self-prospecting efforts
  • Capability to train and develop a sales team
  • Experience building systems and processes for sales operations
  • Positive energy with a solutions oriented approach
  • Proven ability to build and scale a strong HVAC sales department
  • Understand that customers want multiple buying options, ideally at least seven offers/presentations

Pay

Annual salary range: USD 200,000 – 700,000
