Job Description

Cornbread Hemp is expanding its footprint in Florida with a focus on growing sales of its THC beverages while maintaining a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and partner trust. This onsite Sales Manager role in Florida centers on building distributor and retailer relationships, guiding a local sales team, and delivering sustainable revenue growth that aligns with state regulations and brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Growth: Develop and execute a Florida-wide sales strategy designed to meet and exceed revenue and distribution goals.
  • Distributor and Retailer Relationships: Cultivate long-lasting partnerships with wholesalers, dispensaries, and key retail accounts, prioritizing trust and transparency in every interaction.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new opportunities across the region to ensure the brand has a strong, positive presence wherever we operate.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing Florida sales team, fostering collaboration, growth, and accountability while empowering team members to excel.
  • Trade Marketing: Collaborate with marketing to ensure in-store promotions and brand-awareness campaigns resonate with customers and drive engagement.
  • Compliance and Education: Maintain alignment with local, state, and federal regulations, and educate partners on the benefits of the products and the evolving THC beverage landscape.
  • Market Insights: Regularly visit key accounts to monitor market dynamics, track competitor activity, and deliver actionable insights to stay ahead.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in beverage sales, with preference for candidates from the adult beverage or regulated cannabis sectors.
  • Proven distributor and account management experience in a regulated environment.
  • Strong existing relationships with wholesalers and key accounts in Florida are a plus.
  • A passion for innovation in the better-for-you beverage space and a relentless drive to improve.
  • Deep understanding of THC beverage compliance and a knack for anticipating industry trends.
  • Ability to travel regularly within Florida and a readiness to undertake needed efforts to achieve goals.
