Sales Manager
Job Description
Teza Doors & Windows offers a full-time, in-person role at its Van Nuys headquarters, with a competitive base salary of $100,000 to $120,000 per year and multiple ways to increase your earnings through performance bonuses and commission opportunities. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage an inside and outside sales team, coaching reps to improve results
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company revenue goals
- Train, mentor, and motivate sales staff, including ongoing support for technical product knowledge
- Review architectural plans, construction drawings, and project specifications to identify door and window requirements
- Prepare and review project estimates and quotations, including takeoff and scope support
- Meet with contractors, builders, architects, designers, and homeowners to advance sales opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with dealers and commercial accounts
- Track sales performance and provide regular reporting to management
- Negotiate contracts and close large residential and commercial projects
- Coordinate with operations, production, and installation teams to help ensure project success
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry meetings as needed
- Maintain excellent customer service throughout the sales process
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the doors and windows industry
- Minimum 3 years of sales management experience
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial door and window systems
- Experience preparing project takeoffs and estimates
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Preferred
- Experience with aluminum door and window systems
- Knowledge of California building codes and energy requirements
- Existing relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and developers
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar plan-review software
