Sales Manager
Job Description
Onsite in Riverside, CA with an annual salary of $100,000 - $120,000, this role helps you drive growth by managing key customers and expanding into new accounts across North America. Luxfer Gas Cylinders focuses on sales and marketing activity that supports organizational goals, with the resources and team collaboration needed to deliver results.
What you’ll do
- Achieve sales goals for assigned product lines through effective marketing of Luxfer cylinders.
- Develop accurate sales forecast data for assigned customers to support Sales & Operations Planning.
- Coordinate with the Sales Operations Manager to align production and engineering supply strategies for timely delivery to customer specifications.
- Evaluate and report information on competitive activity.
- Build plans and strategies to maintain Luxfer’s success in the cylinder market, including growth through new products, new markets, and new customers.
- Maintain strong customer relationships as the company’s liaison, handling inquiries and resolving conflicts.
- Assist and guide in product development, negotiate customer agreements, and support ongoing customer engagement.
- Track and report all customer contacts and critical communications with detailed reports.
- Maximize market share using knowledge of market opportunities, market sizes, and competitive threats.
- Contribute to segmentation work with the marketing team.
- Maintain and grow a strong reputation for Luxfer products, including representing Luxfer at trade shows, conventions, and associations.
- Conduct and/or construct training programs for end users, customers, and employees.
- Work closely with other sales and marketing personnel to share information and best practices.
- Travel up to 40% for face-to-face meetings with principals.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents.
- Ability to follow processes and procedures; organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
