Sales Manager – Home Improvement

Palm Construction, a family-owned, veteran-operated general contracting company, is expanding its Washington in-home sales effort in Federal Way. This hands-on Sales Manager role supports a dispatched team of in-home reps, helping drive daily performance while working directly in customer homes.

The position blends real-time sales support with leadership and production tracking, with a clear progression toward senior sales management. Expect an active schedule, close coaching, and responsibility for turning pricing and proposals into consistent closes.

What you’ll do

• Support in-home reps in real time during customer appointments, including pricing, discounts, and closing assistance
• Calculate project costs and set the sale price on every proposal
• Set daily and weekly goals, track team performance, and report production to leadership
• Review recorded sales appointments and coach reps on what is working and what needs improvement
• Partner with Dispatch to ensure leads are covered and reps can operate efficiently
• Increase sales volume by driving add-on projects that build customer value
• Maintain a positive, accountable team culture

What you bring

• 3+ years of high-performance, commission-based in-home construction sales using a one-call close
• Proven ability to close and retain new business same-day at an above-average level
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Comfort working from the office and supporting reps in customers’ homes during evening appointments
• 1+ years managing or supporting in-home sales teams

Compensation and schedule

• $85,000 base plus uncapped bonuses tied to the team’s production
• $180,000+ potential yearly earnings
• Saturdays off
• Friday afternoons off
