Sales Manager - PowerWave2
Job Description
Eaton offers a hands-on, growth-oriented environment for the PowerWave2 sales team in Hodges, SC. This onsite leadership role focuses on profitable sales, market expansion, and deep customer engagement across the PowerWave 2 product line. You will collaborate across sales, engineering, operations, and product leadership to convert market needs into winning strategies. The position comes with a salary of $130,000 to $190,000 per year, along with relocation assistance and sponsorship for eligible candidates, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the commercial agenda for PowerWave2 to achieve growth, price realization, product mix, and profitability targets.
- Identify high-value opportunities across key customers, channels, and target verticals, converting them into profitable business.
- Own major quotations, pricing strategy, commercial clarifications, and negotiation support to improve win rate and deal quality.
- Oversee sales attainment, schedule loading, and profitability for PowerWave2 and Non-Seg busway offerings.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical resources to craft commercially viable and technically solid customer solutions.
- Partner with the Product Manager to refine the offering, align commercial priorities, and strengthen go-to-market plans.
- Support field sales with customer presentations, technical–commercial guidance, competitive positioning, proposal support, and training.
- Maintain awareness of market conditions, competitor activity, customer trends, and channel dynamics to sharpen Eaton's position.
- Lead discussions with customers and channels on value proposition, application fit, delivery expectations, and differentiation from competitors.
- Drive responsiveness and cross-functional alignment to improve quotation turnaround and overall customer experience.
- Participate in customer meetings, project reviews, witness tests, and issue-resolution discussions to support growth and confidence.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Engineer to strengthen technical sales execution and customer responsiveness.
- Travel as needed to support strategic relationships, field engagement, and key opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five years of experience in the electrical industry, engineering, sales, sales support, marketing, or product management involving technical products.

Soft Skills
- Strong customer-facing experience in technical sales, product or application support, or commercial leadership roles
- Experience with power distribution products, engineered assemblies, or complex technical quotations and negotiations
- Familiarity with Bid Manager, Mentor, Sales Reporting, and VISTA
- Experience growing growth through channel partners, field sales teams, and strategic customer relationships
- Strong commercial judgment with proven pricing and negotiation capability
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentations, and interpersonal skills
