Sales Manager - Subsea ROV & Visual Systems
Job Description
Imenco is seeking a technical sales professional to drive revenue growth and manage strategic customer relationships in the subsea market, with a focus on subsea ROV and visual systems. This onsite role in Broussard, LA supports the full sales lifecycle from early engagement through proposals and post-delivery support.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new revenue opportunities across the subsea market.
- Grow sales activities tied to oil and gas subsea applications.
- Engage customers early in program development cycles to influence requirements and establish the company as a preferred technology provider.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned to revenue and growth objectives.
- Attend and represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective subsea customers.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and virtual presentations.
- Develop strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to support loyalty and business expansion.
- Expand opportunities through new customer acquisition and account development.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to understand customer requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
- Support customer RFIs, RFQs, proposals, and technical evaluations.
- Own proposal development, quotations, and commercial submissions for assigned accounts and opportunities.
- Serve as a technical advisor to customers, providing expertise in surveillance, imaging, and networking technologies.
- Provide Operations the information needed to support accurate demand forecasting.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide regular sales forecasts, and track progress against opportunity plans.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Use CRM systems to manage opportunities and track customer engagement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Business, or a closely related technical field (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
- At least two years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, applications engineering, project engineering, or a related technical customer support role.
- Experience in the subsea ROV market.
- Proven record of developing customer relationships and closing complex technical sales opportunities.
- An existing network of contacts within the subsea ROV market.
- Knowledge of subsea visual systems, including subsea cameras, imaging technologies, and video management solutions.
- Familiarity with IP-based networking and integrating electronics.
- Strong business development and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to engage technical and executive-level stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to execute strategic sales plans.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product documentation.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
- Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus.

- Broussard, LA onsite (with Houston, TX listed as an additional location).
- Work Location: On the road.
