Senior Business Development Executive
Job Description
KēSTA I.T. is hiring a Senior Business Development Executive to drive enterprise growth across IT staffing and consulting services. This hybrid role is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and focuses on building net-new opportunities while owning the full sales lifecycle from early discovery through contract execution. You will work closely with internal recruiting and delivery teams and represent KēSTA I.T. with senior stakeholders across target accounts.
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Hybrid work with office presence in Salt Lake City required)
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for your territory.
- Generate net-new opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and in-person meetings.
- Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT leaders, HR executives, Procurement teams, and other business decision-makers.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand client objectives, technology initiatives, hiring challenges, and workforce strategies.
- Manage opportunities across the complete sales lifecycle, from prospecting through contract execution.
- Partner with recruiting and delivery teams to support strong client outcomes.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and work toward revenue objectives.
- Represent KēSTA I.T. through client meetings, networking events, and ongoing industry relationships.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in business development, staffing sales, technology sales, consulting sales, or professional services sales.
- Proven success creating net-new business.
- Experience prospecting and developing mid-market or enterprise accounts.
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
- Self-driven and accountable, with motivation tied to measurable results.
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Technology staffing, professional services, or consulting sales experience.
- Industry experience in financial services, banking, credit unions, fintech, insurance, or wealth management.
- Experience with federal, state, or local government contracting, including RFP processes, procurement requirements, MSP/VMS programs, contract vehicles, and public sector purchasing.
- Experience selling RPO or Managed Service Provider (MSP) solutions.
- Experience selling into enterprise organizations.
- Experience working with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, CFOs, Procurement leaders, and other executive stakeholders.
- Familiarity with consultative sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling, or Sandler.
