Senior Sales Manager
Job Description
In this Senior Sales Manager role, onsite in Boston, MA, you will lead the hotel's group sales initiatives, drive new business, and oversee the full sales cycle within a hospitality context. You will develop strategic plans, analyze performance, and coach a team to deliver exceptional client service for meetings and events. The position offers a salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients pursuing group accommodations, meeting space, and catering services.
- Generate and qualify new business through inquiries, proactive outreach, and client prospecting.
- Manage the full sales cycle from site visits and client entertaining to proposal creation, rate determination, contract negotiation, and ongoing account servicing.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and room-night targets, adjusting based on performance and market conditions.
- Analyze sales performance by reviewing data such as lost business reports to identify opportunities to improve conversion and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-department teams to fulfill contracted services and uphold the highest standards of client satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members, monitoring performance and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
