Job Description

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) at Good Times USA LLC manages and expands business performance within a designated territory in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on building customer relationships, using sales and inventory data to improve execution, and delivering scheduled promotions and account reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with independent retailers, wholesalers, and chain accounts.
  • Identify growth opportunities by onboarding new accounts and expanding existing ones.
  • Use sales data to adjust orders, improve product rotation, and manage inventory levels.
  • Complete quarterly inventory counts and address issues such as overstocks, out-of-stocks (OOS), and inventory gaps.
  • Visit wholesalers, distributors, and retailers according to the quarterly planner and evaluate account performance.
  • Ensure each scheduled visit supports company objectives and is documented in the CRM system.
  • Plan and execute tabletop events and in-store promotions based on quarterly planners to increase visibility and sales of focus brands.
  • Focus on new product placement in retail stores and wholesale accounts, aligned with the target store list and strategic goals.
  • Execute retail visits per quarterly planners with no more than one visit per quarter per location, at a rate of 15 stores per day.
  • Maintain and refresh POS materials to reflect current promotions and support brand visibility.
  • Secure premium shelf space and endcap placements, especially in Cash & Carry accounts.
  • Run quarterly business reviews with accounts to review performance gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with accounts on rebate performance and growth strategy alignment.
  • Partner with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and Area Sales Manager (ASM) to implement distribution and promotional strategies for focus brands.
  • Review distributor and wholesaler orders to verify correct price points and product mix for the region.
  • Support customers in maintaining adequate inventory to reduce out-of-stocks.
  • Follow company standard operating procedures for retailer selling, including documentation, purchasing, pricing, and inventory tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with monthly audits for inventory and contingency funds.
  • Track and report the movement of Good Times and competitor products within assigned markets.
  • Provide ongoing updates on top-selling brands and competitor new product releases.
  • Keep company-provided tools and equipment in excellent working condition.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain business relationships.

  • Strong planning, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Analytical capability to make decisions based on data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Minimum experience managing and presenting to chain and corporate accounts.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, squat, and climb step ladders.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle with frequent entering and exiting.

Compensation

Base salary: starting at USD 60,000 per year with up to USD 12,000 in bonuses annually plus a Retail Monthly Bonus.

Training and Schedule

  • Training: comprehensive training includes one week in Tampa, FL, followed by 2–3 weeks in various company territories nationwide. Travel is required during this period.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional travel as outlined in quarterly planners.
