Job Description

Oakridge Landscape, Inc. is a leading landscape and construction company with offices across California. This onsite role in Valencia, CA focuses on arboriculture sales, helping clients with tree and shrub care needs. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, ensuring consistent communication, client satisfaction, and repeat business.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Actively generate new business leads through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Conduct on-site consultations with potential and existing clients to assess tree and shrub care needs.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, effectively communicating the value and scope of our services.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and proactively pursue leads within the territory.
  • Understand client needs and present tailored solutions, including tree care services, plant health care, and consulting offerings.
  • Collaborate with operations and arborist teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote company services.
  • Maintain CRM data and provide regular sales reports to management.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and competitor activity.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Spanish language knowledge is a plus.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a field-based role.
  • Arboriculture industry experience highly preferred.
  • ISA Arborist Certification or Arborist License is a plus; if not current, candidate would be required to obtain ISA Arborist Certification to remain in the role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory.
  • Knowledge of local tree species, pests, and diseases common to the Los Angeles area.
  • Spanish language knowledge is a plus.

Location and Travel

  • Location: Valencia, CA 91355 — onsite
  • Relocation: Required to Valencia before starting work
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% within the territory (preferred)

Compensation

Salary range is listed at $70,000 to $75,000 per year. Base pay starts at $75,000+ (DOE) with commissions paid quarterly.
