Job Description

You will serve as a company ambassador to automotive dealers in the area, helping expand GLS market share by signing new dealers and driving adoption of GLS lending programs.

Responsibilities
- Educate dealers on GLS lending programs and how to maximize their value for each dealership
- Collaborate with operations teams to capture quality business from existing dealers and increase program utilization
- Identify and sign new dealerships to grow the assigned territory
- Conduct regular dealer visits, make cold calls, and handle inbound dealer inquiries to build relationships and generate business
- Maintain high dealer satisfaction and retention
- Complete and submit documentation to track and assess progress toward goals
- Foster a collaborative culture by working with colleagues and management to achieve business plan objectives
- Support special projects as needed
- Take on additional assignments as required by company priorities
Requirements
- Three years of experience in auto finance, with sub-prime auto financing experience preferred
- Three years of sales experience, with auto industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of the local market with established customer relationships preferred
- intrinsically motivated with initiative, able to identify needs, propose improvements, implement changes, and evaluate effectiveness
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others, manage conflicts, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information; able to build cross-functional partnerships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player who adapts well to a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new applications as required

- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Effective communication skills to exchange accurate information
- Close visual acuity for data analysis, reading, and computer use

- Extensive travel required, approximately 75% of the time, by vehicle and air, including overnight and extended hours
