Assistant Sales Manager

Woodford Bros., Inc. is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to support leadership of the Sales Department and drive team performance on site in Apulia Station, NY.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the Sales Department and supporting the team’s overall success
• Coach and develop Design Specialists using ride-alongs and field support
• Run weekly team meetings and training sessions
• Track performance against sales goals to help the team meet and exceed targets
• Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members
• Handle and resolve escalated customer issues
• Lead the department when the Sales Manager is away

Requirements

• 2 years of sales and/or sales management experience, ideally in a manager or training role
• Ability to coach, motivate, and guide others
• Skilled at providing direct, honest feedback while maintaining strong relationships
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to speak, read, and write in English
• Knowledge of sales, marketing, and customer service; construction knowledge is a plus
• Comfort with computers and tracking sales numbers and KPIs
• Can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team; flexibility to support the sales team
• Commitment to delivering a remarkable customer experience
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to drive for the company

Pay

• Hourly pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour
• Up to $25/hr based on experience

Schedule

• Full-time role averaging 50+ hours per week
• Expected hours: 40.0–55.0 per week
