Amazon Web Services, Inc. invites an onsite AWS Sr. Partner Sales Manager for Financial Services in New York, NY. This role focuses on driving revenue growth in the US Financial Services sector by building C-level relationships with strategic GSI/SI and ISV partners and leading co-sell initiatives with AWS account teams to expand cloud adoption in the Insurance sub-industry. The position offers a salary range of USD 157,100 to 212,500 per year.

Responsibilities
- Grow AWS revenue and market share in a defined ECOM territory by coordinating multiple account teams and partners, including strategic consulting partners, toward defined revenue and win targets
- Achieve quarterly revenue targets by enabling GSI/SI and ISV partners to originate opportunities and collaborate with AWS sales teams to close deals that generate AWS revenue
- Develop deep relationships with customers and relevant strategic partners in the territory to understand their business, solutions and technical needs
- Create and implement an integrated account and territory plan that supports multiple account teams and assigned partners to meet revenue and win objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including account teams, specialist sales, services, BD, partner marketing, and partner development to execute the plan
- Foster enduring alliances with key GSI/SI and ISV partners
- Craft and communicate persuasive value propositions for AWS services tailored to the Insurance sub sector within US Financial Services
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Collaborate with partners to extend reach and accelerate AWS adoption
- Assist consulting partners in solution development through AWS APN programs in partnership with GSI/SI PDMs and other resources
- Ensure satisfaction of customers and partners
- Provide technical and architectural support to partners for customer engagements and solution delivery, including ISV partnerships
- Lead territory business development initiatives with Partner Development, marketing, and GTMS teams to promote AWS-based solutions and establish AWS as the preferred platform
- Lead contract negotiations and manage AWS funding programs
Requirements
- Experience collaborating with partners across account, product or program management and business development efforts
- 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
