Job Description
Hybrid role in Annapolis Junction, MD for a Business Development and Capture Executive focused on MPO Growth, reporting to the VP of Growth for the Intel Sector and coordinating with proposal operations, solutions architects, and leadership to win new contracts.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a robust pipeline while steering opportunity capture strategies in collaboration with proposal operations, solutions architects, business growth teams, and leadership to win MPO opportunities.
- Define opportunity requirements and close capability gaps by identifying improvement areas and applying innovative approaches.
- Lead and participate in customer discussions, generate and present White Papers and briefings, and represent MANTECH at solicitation conferences.
- Identify potential industry teammates, lead discussions, and negotiate teaming agreements.
- Initiate and support solutioning discussions with internal and external resources, including MANTECH Solution Architects.
- Provide updates to MANTECH leadership on opportunity status and drive to close open action items.
- Contribute to customer account planning and branding activities aligned with opportunities, including White Papers, technology demonstrations, RFI responses, and industry group participation to gain insight into near-term and far-term customer and mission needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, preferably in technology or business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 12+ years of experience in the federal market with at least 5 years supporting MPO in on-site contract performance, business development, or capture management.
- Technical understanding with the ability to demonstrate to customers a strong congruency between MANTECH Core Competencies and how those enhance mission and tradecraft.
- Deep knowledge of the MPO Agency mission, including cybersecurity and SIGINT, and existing relationships with its leadership and the industrial base.
Clearance
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
- Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication verbally and via email, phone, and virtual platforms to interface with co-workers and customers.
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside an office environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, and interact with co-workers.
- Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, etc.
