Business Development Associate, Financial Services - Corporate Access

The Business Development Associate will identify publicly listed companies for inclusion in the Corporate Access Program, engage senior executives across investor relations and capital markets, and support onboarding activities. This hybrid role is based in New York, NY, with a compensation range of USD 70,000 to 80,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Discover and evaluate publicly traded firms that could benefit from Corporate Access Services.
• Develop and maintain targeted prospect lists by sector, market, geography, exchange, and investor relations objectives.
• Initiate outreach to and meet with C-suite executives, investor relations teams, and corporate development professionals.
• Draft tailored outreach emails, pitch notes, call materials, and timely follow-up communications.
• Coordinate introductory calls and assist senior team members throughout the business development process, helping onboarding of new corporate clients.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, update pipelines, capture prospect notes, and log outreach activity.

Requirements

• Prior experience in financial services, investor relations, capital markets, business development, account management, or client relations is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional presence with comfort engaging with senior executives and investor relations professionals.
• Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
• Meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on consistency, follow-through, and quality control.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team.
• Interest in public markets, corporate finance, investor relations, and corporate access programs.
• Proficiency with Gmail, Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), HubSpot, AI tools, and other web-based research applications.
