Hybrid remote in Wichita, KS 67209

Compensation

USD 60,000 - 65,000 per year, plus commission based on performance

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new clients in finance, healthcare, and manufacturing, using creative outreach to spark interest in Oxen’s solutions.
  • Grow a strong pipeline through cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, networking, and events.
  • Showcase Oxen bundles and present solutions that simplify operations while enhancing security.
  • Assess and address client pain points related to cybersecurity, compliance, and IT operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Cultivate client relationships and expand services to drive growth on each account.
  • Build trust with IT managers, compliance officers, and executives to become a trusted advisor.
  • Develop genuine connections with leaders who are ready for change.
  • Maintain detailed CRM records and track engagement metrics to inform strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and client satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas and embrace new initiatives each quarter.
  • Participate in strategic meetings and contribute insights from client interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as requested.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development or sales within MSP IT and cybersecurity environments.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot or ConnectWise is a plus.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including EDR, MFA, and SIEM.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-starter with strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience selling to mid-sized businesses and offering managed IT or cybersecurity services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask across multiple opportunities.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Passion for cybersecurity services and comfort with KPI tracking and reporting.
  • HubSpot experience is preferred (1 year).
