Responsibilities
- Lead identification, development, and closure of new opportunities in collaboration with regional sales, leveraging technical knowledge and Linde's technology portfolio
- Grow the industrial gases and equipment business through value-driven, technical, consultative sales across electronics, steel, glass, combustion, aerospace, automotive, and environmental applications
- Win new customers and expand existing accounts by prospecting, lead generation, market strategy, business-case development, proposal creation, pricing analysis, technical sales support, and overseeing project implementation
- Analyze markets, regional economic activity, competition, industry needs, and product applications to launch growth campaigns and market initiatives
- Monitor competitor activity and craft response strategies grounded in customer insights, internal operations, and Linde’s technology advantages
- Build and sustain relationships with potential customers, industry consultants, and vendors to support growth
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, research and development, national business development, applications, equipment, and customer service to leverage resources and hit targets
- Contribute to sales strategy development with business development, key account, and sales personnel to align efforts and maximize results
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or a technical field, with over ten years of overall professional experience
- Minimum of five years of technical sales experience
- At least five years of work history in relevant industries or the industrial gases sector
- Willingness to travel up to 50 percent
- Ability to apply industrial gases applications within process industries
- Strong technical and engineering understanding with the ability to build value for customers
- Well-developed commercial and business skills to drive growth and customer engagement
