Job Description
MEI - Total Elevator Solutions is hiring a Business Development Manager to help grow its service account portfolio through new service contracts and long-term customer relationships. This onsite role in Menomonee Falls, WI partners closely with branch operations to support a smooth customer experience as accounts expand.
In this full-time position (M-F), you will manage the end-to-end sales process in MEI’s CRM and quoting systems, build prospect pipelines, and communicate MEI’s service contract options effectively. Compensation is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
What you’ll do
- Prospect and secure new service contracts using cold calls, referrals, marketing efforts, and available market data.
- Build and maintain a database of potential customers, including elevator types, service providers, and contract terms.
- Spot growth opportunities in existing and emerging branch territories.
- Manage leads and opportunities in MEI’s CRM and quoting systems from first contact through close.
- Present MEI’s service contract options in a clear, compelling way to prospective customers.
- Develop and execute business plans that support sales goals and growth.
- Collaborate with branch teams to transition new accounts smoothly and maintain customer satisfaction.
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in a service or technical industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- A proven record of achieving sales goals and building long-term client relationships.
- Strong working knowledge of CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills with strong prioritization and multitasking.
- Detail-oriented, organized approach with strong follow-through.
- Excellent communication skills, strong people skills, and a sense of humor.
- Team-oriented, positive attitude, and self-motivated work style with minimal supervision.
