Business Development Manager

UF Health is hiring an EMS Business Development Manager to expand partnerships and execute targeted growth strategies across Flagler County and St. Johns County.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with community EMS providers, medical transport providers, and healthcare systems
• Strengthen medical transport alignment and ongoing engagement
• Drive strategic growth for key service lines, clinical programs, and system initiatives
• Develop and execute business development plans and tactics to support strategic growth
• Collect and report market intelligence to leadership
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to resolve ED throughput barriers
• Coordinate educational outreach, including CME programs, in-services, field visits, and related activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of experience in business development, clinical services, EMS/medical transport, hospital emergency service, medical/pharmaceutical sales, or provider relations (experience preferred)
• Understanding of Emergency Department patient throughput from an EMS perspective, flight perspective, ED perspective, or combination
• Experience and relationships within St. Johns and Flagler counties with local EMS bases and leaders
• Experience with County Commission and City Leadership
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Market assessments and data analysis experience preferred
• Professional presentation skills
• Healthcare and/or hospital system experience specifically preferred
• Provider relations role experience preferred
• High level of professionalism required

Work Style

• Field-Based role supporting a Gainesville based team
• Represents UF Health St. Johns and Durbin campuses across the geographic territory of Flagler County and St. Johns County
