Job Description

The role leads the Americas Go-To-Market for Robotics and Edge AI technologies at NXP Semiconductors, partnering with startups, target accounts, and ecosystem partners to drive design wins and align with the Americas growth strategy for a 3-5 year expansion. This onsite position is based in San Jose, CA, with an annual salary range of USD 186,200 to 256,100.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new use cases and opportunities in Edge AI driven markets, including robotics, with potential to scale across multiple accounts.
  • Interpret customer challenges, help craft solution concepts with a value proposition, and deploy these use cases at key customer accounts.
  • Identify, nurture, and support ecosystem partners such as module providers and reference designs to accelerate adoption of NXP solutions and enable growth.
  • Gather core technical requirements for the market and contribute to shaping product roadmaps to secure future designs in this market and other emerging markets.
  • Develop and deliver training to field sales and customer application support teams on the ecosystem, strategy, and target applications to strengthen technical skills for designing in NXP solutions.
  • Provide actionable market and competitor insights to the business lines and the global sales and marketing organization.
  • Manage relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including business lines and the Americas account teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each business line's capabilities and ambitions to map opportunities within the Americas region.
  • Track progress of new opportunities and present business plans and actions to close to key stakeholders within the business line and sales team.
  • Identify key decision makers in customer engineering, executive teams, and purchasing to establish favorable relationships for NXP expansion.
  • Coordinate globally and facilitate joint business meetings across regional geographies that share robotics customers and applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, Product Line Management, Key Account Management/Program Management, or Application Engineering.
  • Self-starter with strong leadership, entrepreneurial drive, and a results-oriented approach to win.
  • Proven track record in business development, applications engineering, or sales within a fast-growth, high-tech company.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and strong analytical skills, combining technical literacy with business savvy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging diverse customers, cultures, and functions.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
  • Regular exposure to and presence with senior executives.
  • Tenacity and willingness to pursue new opportunities and explore unknown business cases.
  • Ability to travel more than 30 percent of the time.
  • Knowledge and experience with key robotics customers.
