Job Description
Onsite in Chicago, IL, the Business Development Representative will drive new business by prospecting and selling JB Hunt transportation and logistics solutions to enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads through targeted outreach, networking, and sales tools to win new business
- Engage prospects, assess logistics needs, and present tailored transportation solutions
- Develop sales strategies, craft proposals, and close contracts
- Support onboarding and implementation with internal teams
- Monitor account performance via KPIs to ensure revenue quality and contract compliance
Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast paced sales environment
- Proven success in B2B sales, lead generation, and high velocity prospecting
- Strong negotiation, closing, and deal execution capabilities
- Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management and strategic planning
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics or supply chain solutions
- Ability to collaborate across internal teams to drive implementation and customer success
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience
- High school diploma or GED required

Salary: USD 70,000 - 88,000 per year
