Job Description

Freedom Recovery Centers is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative to expand our referral network and drive patient admissions in North Chesterfield, Virginia. This onsite role collaborates with leadership, clinical teams, and community partners to identify opportunities, cultivate relationships, and clearly communicate the impact of our substance abuse treatment services.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate referral relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, community organizations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to raise awareness of Freedom Recovery Centers’ services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for current and prospective referral partners.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and provide updates on programs and outcomes.
  • Analyze market trends to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to shape and refine business development strategies.
  • Represent Freedom Recovery Centers at community events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across outreach efforts.
  • Monitor performance metrics, including patient admissions and referral growth.
  • Prepare regular reports for leadership detailing activities and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of business development experience, preferably in healthcare or substance abuse treatment settings.
  • Proven track record of developing partnerships, increasing referrals, and achieving growth targets.
  • Solid understanding of the substance abuse treatment landscape, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with a results-driven approach.
  • High-level communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders and build relationships.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy and cultural sensitivity with a client-centered approach to outreach and partnerships.
  • Strong leadership qualities and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
  • Must meet pre-employment and maintain applicable state and national guidelines for reference checks, background screening, urine drug screening, DMV (if applicable), insurance (if applicable), and license/credential verifications.
