Business Development Representative
Job Description
Aicello offers an onsite, full-time opportunity in New Albany, Ohio with a competitive salary range of USD 55,000 to 80,000 per year. The role focuses on growing the U.S. business through account management and new business development, strengthening existing customer relationships, and coordinating with internal teams. The position includes a robust benefits package, access to professional development, and regular travel to the U.S. Southeast. While based in Ohio, you will support customers across the Southeastern states (NC, SC, TN, AL, GA).
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand current U.S. customer accounts while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Maintain an understanding of the end-to-end order-to-cash process and work with sales assistants and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
- Manage sample requests and customer trials, track results, and actively support converting trials into production business.
- Collect and share market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to inform sales strategies and growth.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to align with company objectives and growth initiatives.
- Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed to strengthen market presence and promote products.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong, long-term relationships and addressing commercial needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Support customers across the U.S. Southeastern states (NC, SC, TN, AL, GA) through regular business travel, while based in Ohio.
- Lead sales activities including pricing discussions, quotations, negotiations, and order coordination in collaboration with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts by regularly communicating with customers to understand demand outlooks and market trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within a B2B environment, with 1 to 3 years preferred.
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
- Strong understanding of business development strategies and strategic planning techniques.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with project management principles and customer relationship management practices.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of marketing fundamentals to support outreach efforts effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly across diverse audiences in a professional manner, supporting the global Aicello team in achieving shared goals.
