Job Description
Foley Equipment is seeking an Outside Business Development Sales Representative for rental equipment in Overland Park, KS, onsite.
Responsibilities
- Proactively pursue and maximize sales opportunities through direct customer engagement.
- Provide exceptional customer service to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assess customer requirements and advise on appropriate equipment choices.
- Help customers determine specifications to meet their unique needs.
- Consult with customers to respond to questions and resolve issues.
- Maintain CRM records to track interactions and nurture relationships.
- Travel as needed for training or to support other locations.
Requirements
- Proven ability to quickly establish rapport and build lasting relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to initiate engaging conversations.
- Prior outside sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for effective customer interaction.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to drive as needed.

What will put you ahead
- Prior rental sales experience in the construction industry
- Deep knowledge of the construction industry, including equipment and job-site phases
- Hands-on construction industry experience that informs understanding of customer needs
- Bilingual in Spanish and English to serve a broader customer base
