Job Description

Foley Equipment is seeking an Outside Business Development Sales Representative for rental equipment in Overland Park, KS, onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively pursue and maximize sales opportunities through direct customer engagement.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assess customer requirements and advise on appropriate equipment choices.
  • Help customers determine specifications to meet their unique needs.
  • Consult with customers to respond to questions and resolve issues.
  • Maintain CRM records to track interactions and nurture relationships.
  • Travel as needed for training or to support other locations.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to quickly establish rapport and build lasting relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to initiate engaging conversations.
  • Prior outside sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for effective customer interaction.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to drive as needed.

What will put you ahead

  • Prior rental sales experience in the construction industry
  • Deep knowledge of the construction industry, including equipment and job-site phases
  • Hands-on construction industry experience that informs understanding of customer needs
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English to serve a broader customer base
