Job Description

Repipe Specialists A1 LLC is growing its commercial drain, sewer, trenchless, and pipe-lining work, and you can help lead that growth in the field. This outside sales and business development role offers a hands-on, relationship-driven sales process, backed by technical leadership and onboarding support so you can evaluate opportunities confidently and move them through to handoff.

Compensation: $80,000 per year (starting from $80,000.00 annually).

What you’ll be doing

  • Prospect and build your own pipeline to find new commercial opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with plumbing contractors, property managers, HOAs, facility teams, general contractors, municipalities, manufacturers, and commercial clients.
  • Run the full sales cycle: discovery, job walks, proposals, negotiation, closing, handoff, and follow-up.
  • Evaluate pipe-rehabilitation opportunities including drain, sewer, underground work, CIPP, SIPP, point repair, and related solutions with support from technical leadership.
  • Review plans, CCTV footage, measurements, access requirements, and field conditions before committing to scope or price.
  • Create proposals that clearly outline scope, pricing, assumptions, exclusions, and options.
  • Protect margin by identifying unknown conditions and avoiding incomplete scopes.
  • Keep opportunities, activities, forecasts, and next steps current in HubSpot.
  • Hand off complete project details to Operations, including scope, pricing, documentation, risks, access, and customer commitments.

What you bring

  • Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, develop pipeline, negotiate, and close new business.
  • A working plumbing background, especially with drain, sewer, storm, underground, DWV, or related systems.
  • Enough field knowledge to understand how the work gets done and spot potential scope issues.
  • Ability to conduct job walks, ask strong discovery questions, and document field conditions.
  • Confidence reading or navigating plumbing plans, drawings, specifications, and site maps.
  • Understanding of pricing, gross margin, and how to sell properly scoped work.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, written communication, and CRM discipline.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout Southern California.
  • Willingness to travel out of state or stay overnight occasionally when projects require it.

Training and experience with trenchless

Experience with CIPP, SIPP, CCTV inspection, hydrojetting, descaling, point repair, or other trenchless methods is preferred. You do not need to be an expert to start. If you have a strong plumbing foundation and sales ability, you can learn lining as another solution with technical training and field exposure during onboarding.

Benefits

  • 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Flexible spending account
  • Health insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Professional development assistance
  • Vision insurance

Success looks like

  • Meeting a minimum annual sales-production expectation of $1.5 million.
  • Building a self-generated pipeline while converting qualified company and partner opportunities.
  • Producing properly scoped, profitable work that meets company margin requirements.
  • Maintaining timely follow-up, accurate forecasting, current HubSpot records, and complete project handoffs.
