Job Description

The District Sales Manager, Central oversees HOYA Vision Care's Central region, driving the ECP Channel forecast and district goals. The role leads and develops Territory Sales Managers, coordinates budgets, and provides reporting and strategic guidance to grow the district. This onsite position is based in Lewisville, Texas, and requires 3 years of successful sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed the district sales targets and the ECP Channel forecast.
  • Translate HOYA ECP Channel business plans into individual and team objectives.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of district challenges and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure Territory Sales Managers complete territory and account planning, including forecasting and pipeline management; provide coaching and sales support.
  • Model exceptional customer service through direct district engagement; guide TSMs to monitor market dynamics and customer base changes; represent the district at key events to foster loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director and Sales Enablement to develop and monitor district and territory budgets.
  • Deliver district performance insights using Power BI and data analysis.
  • Grow and develop the district team through effective communication of the HOYA ECP Channel Sales Management process, joint field activities, and one-on-one coaching.
  • Provide ongoing feedback on Territory Sales Manager performance.
  • Assist Territory Sales Managers in building account-level business plans.
  • Coach TSMs on our selling process and methodology to achieve district goals.
  • Engage with key HOYA ECP Channel stakeholders to maintain strong communication and teamwork across District and Region.
  • Communicate, supervise, and implement all HOYA Sales, Premium Product, and Channel Marketing Plans and objectives.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop top talent for Territory Sales Manager roles.
  • Support Region execution planning with input from the District to enable a cohesive regional roll-up.
  • Complete reports and administrative duties accurately and on time.
  • Represent the company in alignment with core values and foster a safe work environment by following proper safety procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Region Sales Director or VP of ECP Sales.
  • Manage subordinate Territory Sales Managers, directing the sales region in accordance with company policies and applicable laws; include interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisals, rewards, and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience; outside selling is preferred.
  • Eight or more years of optical sales experience, with a preference for five years in optical sales management; demonstrated results leading sales teams are strongly preferred.
  • Optical sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, general PC navigation, contact management systems, and sales analytics tools.
  • Salesforce or CRM experience is a plus.
