Job Description

Milwaukee, WI on-site Jr. Sales Development Representative role with The Ranger Group.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate new accounts by engaging engineering managers and directors
  • Cultivate relationships that lead to placing project-based engineering consultants
  • Collaborate with the internal recruiting team to deliver top engineering talent and ensure client satisfaction
  • Expand accounts over time from single groups to multi-department partnerships
  • Prospect and reach national mid-size and large engineering targets
  • Secure introductory and follow-up meetings with engineering leadership (Managers/Directors of Embedded Software, Hardware, Mechanical, QA/Validation, Manufacturing)
  • Lead client discovery discussions to understand project needs, hiring gaps, and resourcing challenges
  • Partner with internal recruiters to match candidates to client needs, present profiles, and drive interview and onboarding processes
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships, delivering quality outcomes and opening doors to adjacent departments or functions

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of B2B sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable speaking with executives over the phone and in person
  • Self-motivated with a structured prospecting plan and a consistent weekly cadence
  • Coachable, resilient, and driven to meet measurable goals
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
