Manager, Sales Development
Job Description
Rippling is expanding its outbound sales function in a hybrid San Francisco setting, where a focused SDR team drives pipeline, coaching, and talent development to meet ambitious revenue targets. The manager for this group will combine hands-on leadership with data-driven oversight, guiding reps, shaping hiring, and translating business needs into scalable outcomes across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead top of funnel activities and convert business needs into actionable plans.
- Leverage data to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met daily.
- Partner with reps to refine objection handling and articulate Rippling’s value to book demos.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, preparing reps for their next sales roles.
- Own a defined function and communicate business requirements across the organization.
- Play a key role in recruiting SDR talent and shaping the team.
- Demonstrate cross-functional empathy and provide both strategic and tactical feedback across teams.
- Drive the business to consistently achieve and surpass revenue targets.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years in an SDR organization and at least 1 year in SDR leadership.
- Proficiency with SDR tech stack: Outreach, Salesforce, LI Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha, LeadIQ, SalesIntel, Gong or Chorus, Guru or Highspot.
- Experience in Enterprise SaaS with multi-product selling distribution.
- Experience building or executing an outbound program with multichannel approaches and data-driven metrics.
- Strong ability to manage at the ground level while aligning to broader business initiatives.
- Ability to hire, onboard, ramp, and train remotely across multiple time zones.
- Proven understanding of scaling organizations in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with change management.

Salary: USD 160,000 to 180,000 per year.

San Francisco, CA with a hybrid work arrangement (three on-site days per week).
