Job Description

Regional Sales Director for SLED in the TOLA region, based in Texas (onsite), focused on bookings growth, market expansion, and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, recruit, coach, and mentor a team of six SLED Account Executives, ensuring ongoing enablement and professional growth.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize Rubrik's market share and revenue across the TOLA SLED segment.
  • Maintain rigorous weekly forecast discipline and pipeline generation aligned with executive expectations.
  • Engage in field selling to support AEs on complex deals, delivering strategic account guidance and high level CxO relationship building.
  • Build and leverage the partner ecosystem to accelerate regional pipeline through collaborative selling.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Sales Development, and Product teams to align regional execution with corporate goals.
  • Participate actively in short-, medium-, and long-term planning as a core member of the Public Sector Management team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technology sales leadership experience directing high-performing teams with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding regional quotas.
  • Deep SLED market expertise across State, Local, and Higher Education procurement cycles, contracts, and buying personas; TOLA experience is highly preferred.
  • Solid domain knowledge in data security, backup, cyber resilience, cloud infrastructure, or data center environments.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, negotiate high-value deals, and influence decision-makers in sensitive or competitive situations.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical value to technical and executive audiences alike.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable leader with strong problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
