Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
Manage regional sales across New England, focusing on ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, and CT, while overseeing distributors and coordinating with engineering, sales, and production teams from a remote home office.
Responsibilities
- Territory Coverage: Oversee and grow the New England sales territory including ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, and CT.
- Target Industry Focus: Drive sales growth in Aerospace, Defense, and Precision Manufacturing within the region.
- Distributor Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current dealers and distributors, support their selling efforts, and identify new distribution partners to expand market penetration.
- Travel and Routing: Coordinate territory travel efficiently, operating within an 8 hour drive radius from the Hartford, CT hub.
Requirements
- Industrial Sales Experience: 3+ years of proven B2B industrial sales experience.
- Specialized Knowledge: Experience with overhead cranes and distributor sales is highly preferred.
- Industry Alignment: Familiarity with and existing relationships in key regional verticals—Aerospace, Defense, and Precision Manufacturing—is a major plus.
- Autonomy and Organization: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously from a remote home office while managing a six-state geographic territory.
- Travel Ability: Willingness to travel regularly across the designated territory, approximately 75% of the time.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.

As the regional sales manager for New England, you will manage a concentrated territory with an established industrial sales culture, serving as the Northeast face of the company, driving revenue and supporting the distribution network. You will manage vendors, negotiate for value, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to keep projects moving. Location: Remote, preferably based near the Hartford, CT hub.
