Job Description
Remote Regional Sales Manager role focused on medical devices across Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Expand the market share of HME products within the defined geographic area and meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Build relationships with decision makers across clinical, technical, and financial stakeholders in the region.
- Prospect via cold outreach and on site visits to potential customers.
- Schedule appointments with hospital staff and administrators.
- Manage all leads and customer accounts within the territory.
- Maintain accurate and up to date information in the CRM system.
- Educate clinical staff on the use and benefits of medical devices.
- Provide product demonstrations and ongoing support to customers.
- Ensure smooth ordering processes for both new and existing accounts.
- Increase account penetration by offering the full product portfolio.
- Facilitate collaboration among sales, marketing, and support teams to improve the customer experience.
- Collect, analyze, and present field sales data to inform strategy and execution.
- Support and champion the regional sales strategy.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan.
- Coach, train, and develop sales reps or agents on products, services, and corporate initiatives.
- Oversee multiple territories and the associated sales teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Biology or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of four years of experience in the medical industry and medical device sales.
- Experience managing direct reports is a plus.
- Strong sales background with a proven performance record; ability to learn medical device product platforms; self-starter with independent sales management capabilities.
- Direct sales training and experience in the medical device industry is required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
