Regional Sales Manager – Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical Validation
Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager for the East Coast will drive growth in the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical Validation segment for Lives International Corp. This remote role, based in Manchester, PA with a hybrid arrangement, involves approximately 50 to 75 percent travel across the United States and a focus on developing new business while managing existing accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to achieve defined revenue targets
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within pharmaceutical and life sciences markets
- Manage and expand relationships with existing customers and strategic accounts
- Present Lives International's equipment, software, calibration services, and technical solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations, both remotely and at client sites
- Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and account development plans
- Navigate the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting through negotiation and closing
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer activity records in the CRM
- Coordinate with technical, application, calibration, and customer-support teams
- Represent Lives International at conferences, exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry events
- Monitor market developments, customer requirements, and competitive activity
- Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to management
Requirements
- Minimum five years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, medical devices, laboratory equipment, validation, calibration, instrumentation, or related technical markets
- Proven ability to develop new accounts and manage complex sales cycles
- Experience selling technical equipment, software, or services to regulated industries
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
- Ability to understand customer applications and translate technical requirements into commercial solutions
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, territory-based role
- Organized and disciplined in managing opportunities, follow-ups, quotations, and forecasts
- Willing and able to travel regularly within the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science, or a related field is preferred
