Job Description

A Sales Director role focused on expanding Grip-Tite Manufacturing in the northern markets while guiding the utility division, partnering with the CEO and C-Suite to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead expansion into new markets by building channel partnerships and distribution networks across the Northern and Northwestern regions
  • Establish and deepen strategic agency partnerships to support sustained sales growth and utility market penetration
  • Lead onboarding and ongoing relationship management with key channel and distribution partners to ensure smooth integration and enduring engagement
  • Design and implement go-to-market plans for core products, including pricing, positioning, channel strategy, and related sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with finance and other senior leaders to support forecasting, revenue planning, and long-term growth initiatives
  • Direct organization-wide sales outreach to boost market visibility, customer engagement, and revenue generation in new markets
  • Maintain and expand long-term relationships with key distributors and strategic business partners across markets
  • Work closely with the CEO on strategic relationships, high-level negotiations, and key business development opportunities
  • Take on additional responsibilities and initiatives as assigned

Requirements

  • Unrestricted driver's license valid in any state
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or large-scale utility work, with government work a plus
  • 8+ years of experience working with distributor networks and channel sales strategy

About the Opportunity

The Sales Director will provide strategic insight for penetrating new markets and will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to sustain growth, uphold core values, and meet business objectives. This role also oversees Grip-Tite's utility division.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

This position involves extended sitting and computer work, travel, and regular interaction with customers, distributors, and partners. Occasional lifting of materials may be needed. Travel is approximately 50%–75%, including site visits, industry events, and company locations.
