Sales Manager
Job Description
The Sales Manager will oversee the Seattle, WA sales team, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and implementing strategic sales initiatives with strong leadership support.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Representatives.
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
- Set clear performance expectations, goals, and accountability measures.
- Collaborate with marketing and business leaders to boost brand visibility and identify business development opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and apply corrective actions when needed.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused culture.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead change initiatives and continuous improvement aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven success leading sales teams and delivering consistent revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of the Seattle market and established relationships within the region.
- Strategic thinking paired with hands-on leadership execution.
- Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and talent development skills.
- Solid business acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Customer-first mindset with a passion for building long-term relationships.
- Experience managing performance, driving accountability, and developing winning sales cultures.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of successful sales leadership experience.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience.
- Proven track record of developing and executing sales strategies that yield measurable results.
- Experience building partnerships and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.
